But there’s something fundamentally wrong with that question.

It’s focused on you.

But it’s customers who give you money.

So, it must be focused on them.

A better question to ask is. What else would our customers love from us?

And you can ask them (hint, hint).

When you frame questions from a customer perspective it forces you to think differently.

You have to try and see things as they see them and that’s very different to how you see them.

Here are a few more to try.

What could we do that would amaze our customers?

How can we show our customers how much we appreciate them?

What could we do that would make our customers never want to go anywhere else?

It’s a subtle, but vital shift.

The more you train yourself to see the world as your customer does, the faster you get that sales increase you’re after.
