What my doctor visit taught me about the power of emotion.
I’m heading to the doctor today to have a skin cancer removed. I’ve had a few done before so I know roughly what to expect.
Rationally I know I’ll be fine. Not a lot can go wrong.
But I’m still anxious and that’s because emotion overpowers rational every time.
People forget this when they create their marketing. Especially on their websites.
They think you can present your rational case and make sales. You can make a few but you will make way more when you engage people emotionally.
Just remember when emotions go up, so do sales.
