Follow your passion is one of these sayings that is overused.
You can’t simply follow your passion and expect money to rain down from the sky.
You need a market of people who want what you’ve got.
You need to market what you’ve got or no one will know about it.
Ideally you should love what you do. But it’s not mandatory. You can still have an amazing business without it. It’s just at some point you will get bored.
The alternative is to use your business to create cashflow for your passion projects. The better your business the more you can pursue your passions.
