We need to laugh more.
There’s the old saying that laughter is the best medicine. I agree with that but there’s another more important benefit.
A good hard laugh puts you in an ‘open state’.
When you are in an open state you are more creative.
Most of us spend our days in a closed state and wonder why we aren’t creative.
I also find music works to this too.
Creativity is being playful. A willingness to go there.
As you play you just let yourself go. All sorts of ideas come.
Some bad. Some brilliant.
But unless you get into an open state you’ll struggle to come up with the ideas that can alter the course of your business.
So start your day with a laugh. just look up your favourite comedian on YouTube.
Then do it every day. There’s no better way to start your day.
