People are endlessly fascinating.

If you commit to studying what they do and why they do it you’ll never get bored.

Plus you will naturally create marketing they respond to.

Now what’s this hack?

It’s flattery. Sincere flattery. People can tell the difference.

The thing is we all want to be validated. We want people to like us. We want to feel important.

So genuinely playing to this can be powerful.

But don’t lay it on too thick. Here’s an example.

Let’s say I wanted to reach out to marketing legend Jay Abraham.

I could write a long gushing message about how much I love and how much his teaching has transformed my life. But that would be overdoing it.

Instead I could say something like this.

Jay you don’t know me but I have to thank you for something. You see I recently learnt your strategy of pre-eminence. It has completely changed the way I think about my business and I apply it to every single action I take in my business. Business has never been better.

Now this is short and to the point but also specific. That’s what you want to do.

If you use flattery you must genuinely be a fan of something the person has done. As I said earlier people can smell B.S. from a mile away.
