People move away from pain and towards pleasure. For your marketing to succeed you need to know what they want more of and what they want less of.
The easiest way to do this make a list. Make two columns on a piece of paper.
On one side write the heading My Clients Want More Of This. On the other write the heading My Clients Want Less Of This.
Then really consider which one is their dominant concern right now.
That becomes what you based your marketing message on. The other things are supporting points. Often, they will be used as bullet points in your copy. But your overall message must focus on one main appeal.
Here are some ideas to get you started.
More time.
More health.
More money.
More ..x.
Less stress.
Less uncertainty.
Less things to do.
This is a simple process. But like most simple things it’s powerful if you actually do it.
