Here’s the killer question. What are you going to do differently to get get it?
You can’t just do in 2022 what you did in previous years and assume it will get you where you want to be.
You have to dig in and do a whole business ‘forensic marketing audit’. That’s a fancy way of saying do some analysis and deep thinking about your whole business.
Anytime I look at a business I can spot opportunity. I’ve trained myself to do it. It’s a reflex now I don’t need to think about it. But when you start it takes effort.
Here’s a few simple things you can do to get started. Of course if you need more help reach out I won’t bite (that’s extra ? ).
Look at your system to acquire clients. View it like you are going to buy from you. What sucks? Where do you get stuck? Can you change your follow up process? How can you automate and make it more predictable?
Look at your system to service clients. Do you deliver perfectly every time? Do you ensure clients are happy? Do you stay in touch regularly? Do you ask them to buy again and refer other great clients?
Look at all your other systems. Does your business continue to function just as well if key people leave? Does it require much input from the owner?
Adopt the mindset of a detective. Look for clues about where you fall short and set about fixing them. Start today if you are committed to making 2022 your best year yet.
