It’s them. Your client. That’s who they are most interested in.
Think about when you get a canned pitch on LinkedIn or via cold email. You immediately reject 99.9% of them because they don’t offer YOU anything YOU want.
The pitches are about them.
But a smart move is to study them and ask yourself how could this be done that would grab my attention immediately?
Fact is we all use cold outreach at some point so we should learn how to do it the right way.
The right way is personalised. The right way is to focus on the self-interest if your client. The right way is the opposite of everyone else.
So make sure any time your create marketing you focus on the most interesting person in the world THEM.
